dear law clerk in district i will not mention,

i understand that the judge has apos;like 500 casesapos; and so does not have time to draft a two sentence order.

however, i was once a law clerk too so i know that the judge does not draft ANYTHING. That is YOUR job. And while you may have 250 cases (half of the case load because i know that you have a co-clerk), i also know that only maybe 5 of those cases are active right now. The rest are sitting in discovery. And i also know that you just got past your september deadline when things were (sort of) due and the next deadline isnapos;t until march.

you have time to draft a two sentence order.
